About this item

Bass Trap "Line" is a high-performance low-frequency absorber specifically designed to be mounted in the corners where two walls meet vertically, or horizontally at the intersection of walls and ceiling, in order to achieve optimal sound quality in any room.

These bass traps effectively capture the random 'omni-directional' bass energy that tends to accumulate in corners, preventing it from dominating the room. By doing so, they reduce smear and enhance bass definition and punch, allowing for better control over low-frequency energy and helping studios achieve a tighter, more controlled bass output.

Acoustic engineers place significant importance on addressing the angles of intersection in rooms, as these areas play a crucial role in how sound is distributed. Walls and ceilings act as sound guides, directing sound towards corners where it can accumulate and cause undesirable low-frequency resonances. By placing traps in these corners, the time of natural reverberation is significantly reduced, resulting in cleaner, more defined sound characteristics, particularly in the lower part of the frequency spectrum.
