The possibilities and color choices for this blanket are endless. I use 3 colors in this blanket pattern but you could use just one or two or as many as you want. The blanket is thick and warm with a dense pattern. It has less of the normal openness of your typical crochet blanket. The pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner. The pattern has a few more advanced stitches but they are easy to master. The pattern is repetitive and really a great relaxing project. 

This pattern is designed by me as a pattern for advanced beginner with basic crochet skills and knowledge of basic stitches. You will need to understand how to read directions. In this pattern you will use single crochet, double crochet, Front Post Double Crochet, Back Post Double Crochet as well as a slip stitch and joining colors. You will need a size K hook.
