Juban - japanese undershirt

Juban is worn under a kimono, covering the body from touching the fabric of outerwear. This is a necessary and very important element of any Japanese costume. Today, the juban is worn both in martial arts (under the keikogi) and when wearing the classic Japanese kimono and yukata.

The default material is white thin cotton with a weight of 140g (5oz).

If you have some specific wishes about sizing of your costume just contact us or leave a comment to the order with your actual measurement and we'll make in a proper size.

Please note - we make every single pair in a custom way so we'll need some time (usually from a week or two) to sew your personal juban shirt.
