Aran (8 wpi; 10 ply; no 4: Medium) yarn 75-110g (125-180 yards.
Double pointed knitting needle size US 10 ½ (6.5 mm) or to obtain gauge 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 16 sts x 23 rows (in stockinette stitch)
Double pointed needles size US 9 (5.5 mm) that give gauge 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 18 sts x 26 rows (in stockinette stitch)
Removable markers (5), tapestry needle
