Lioness Granny Square Crochet Pattern

This lioness granny square is approximately 20 cm x 20 cm (8.15" x 8.15"), and can be used as a component for crocheted items such as a blanket or cushion cover. The square can be used repeatedly, or with others. This is the second of my 'South African animal' granny squares, so keep your eyes open for more designs coming soon ;-)

It can also be framed framed and hung on a wall, as home décor - ideal in a nursery, or a child's bedroom.

The pattern (written in US terms) calls for DK yarn in six colours (beige and olive green, and very small amounts of white, very dark brown, and pale yellow), and a 4.00 mm crochet hook is used throughout. In total, the approximate yardage is 49 m (54 yds).

The only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
