The mouse is knitted completely without breaking the thread, in one piece. At the same time, the head looks voluminous, but it does not take up much space if you put several books with such bookmarks in a bag. Eyes and a nose are made at will - even without them, it looks recognizable, like a stylized version of a mouse.

Based on the pattern, you can make not only bookmarks. For example, by lengthening the body of the mouse and adding a clasp, you can get a bracelet or clothing for a mug (sew buttons on the back under the nose and in front of the tail).
And if you greatly expand the body with increases and remove the extra width with decreases closer to the tail, you can get a rounded stand for hot.
