In the summer of 1921, post-revolutionary Russia is a land of upheaval, and for sisters Irina and Lili Goliteva, it’s a time of profound change. Their once-grand Moscow mansion, now commandeered by Bolshevik officials, has fallen into disrepair. The sisters, formerly aristocratic, are relegated to the cramped attic while the officials occupy the opulent rooms below. Adapting to their new Soviet reality, they strive to forget their noble past and carve out a new life.

In search of refuge from their oppressive new landlords, Irina and Lili find work with the American Relief Administration, which offers food, employment, and a chance to contribute to the famine relief effort. For Irina, it's an opportunity to help the needy, while Lili sees a chance to express her artistic talents. Amidst their struggles and budding prospects, they might even find love.

However, the mansion they once called home is far from quiet. Whispers of a dark and traumatic past begin to surface, as the spirits of their deceased family stir restlessly, desperate to reveal the truth of their tragic fates during the Revolution. When one of the Bolshevik officials is found dead under mysterious circumstances, the line between the supernatural and the human blurs.

Irina and Lili must confront the terrifying secrets of Moscow House, delving into a history that is dangerous and forbidden. Their journey into the shadows of their family’s past could uncover the chilling truth, but it might also put their lives in jeopardy.
