Unicorn Rattle Crochet Pattern
This unicorn rattle pattern is easy to follow, and the finished item works up quickly, making an adorable last-minute gift for a new baby.
The handle of the rattle is about 12 cm long, and is easy for little hands to grasp. A large bell inside the head (with two smaller bells placed inside) makes a jingle noise when the rattle is shaken, and cellophane inside the horn makes it crinkle when moved or squeezed. Textured or satin ribbons for mane and tail are nice ‘feely’ details for babies to play with.
The written pattern (in US terms) calls for a 4.00 mm crochet hook, and DK yarn in three colours: silver, rainbow, and white.
Gauge is not important for this pattern.
