Vintage Metal Wire Basket Fish Egg fruits basket - Made in USSR

Very original in its own way...The second one is not to be found

First of all it was used for fishing,freshly caught fish were stacked in this grid and immersed in water.The fish remained alive.

The top cover is spring loaded and opens inward,so it is convenient to put the fish inside

Vintage metal wire basket. Use it for eggs, fruits, vegetables, harvest, toys and everything else. Excellent bag in retro style for shopping. Would be a great addition to any farmhouse kitchen.
