The wood sculpture lamp is a unique art object for the beloving home. I carved this desk lamp from an elm tree branch. Its wood is hard and expressive. For many hours I stubbornly removed everything superfluous until I got such a light sculpture.
I always try to work in cooperation with nature, which largely determines the shape of my lamps. This is the desire for unity, finding harmony, and overcoming the alienation of man and nature.
I called this wood lamp Dome. I wanted to convey a sense of shelter. A quiet secluded place in which soft light glows peacefully. When I look at this desk lamp I remember a Serbian novelist Milorad Pavic. I think this wooden lamp is like an “inner side of the wind, is one that stays dry, while the wind blows through the rain”.
This table lamp combines contemporary lighting design technology with the elegant minimalism of modern wood sculpture. The mood lamp helps to create a specific ambiance within the room as a means of making the space more attractive and welcoming in some manner. Just invite the wood lamp to warmly fill in a bedside corner or illuminate with a soft light where a little extra lighting is required.
The art lamp is finished with a mixture of natural oils and waxes to protect the wood and make it more expressive. So this is a true eco-friendly lamp with low power consumption.
The lamp is equipped with a high-quality Apeyron SMD 3528 warm white LED strip, designed for long work. The lamp is supplied with an on/off switch and a 12V power supply with EU or US plug. It is powered by 110/220V.
The size of the wooden lamp is about 40 cm (15,7'') high.
