About this item

If you dream of more living natural materials in your home – this is it. There is a real piece of the wild forest. This refined elm wood is handcrafted in my small workshop lost in the endless Siberian expanses.

To create this wooden vase, I used hard and noble elm wood. I took a well-dried branch that had lain on my roof for several years, sawed it lengthwise, removed the middle, and then glued it back together. Then I had many more hours of sanding the wood to give the vase the desired shape. The height of the resulting vase: 30 cm (11.8'').

In each of my works, I try to convey a sense of unity and overcome the alienation of man from nature. I always try to act in cooperation with nature, which largely determines the form of my products.

This table vase helps to set subtle accents and gives modern interiors a sense of naturalness and connection with nature that it often lacks. It enriches the home with the warmth of wood and harmonious forms.

The vase is completely eco-friendly. The expressive wood of this vase is accentuated and reliably protected by the finish with a mixture of natural oils and waxes inside and out. It’s a completely natural product safe even for food. Despite this, the vase is not intended to hold water. Please do not put water inside.

Hand wash recommended. Wipe dry with a towel after washing. Wood is a living material, so you can periodically care for it by rubbing this vase with mineral oil or a beeswax compound when you feel it needs it (start to look dry or don't feel super smooth). Don't use food-based oil like vegetable or olive oil, since these types of oils can go rancid.

I strictly follow the origin of the materials. I’m using wind-blown trees and broken branches.

Your purchase will be a great support for a little group of free local artists. Let's return to nature faith in friendship with man together! Thank you for your attention!
