About this item

Very detailed and easy KNITTING PDF PATTERN for creating knitted big bunny!

This is not circular knitting, the toy is knitted on 4 knitting needles.

***THIS IS KNIT Bunny PATTERN ONLY - NOT A FINISHED TOY***

The file contains 39 pages, 110 pictures
Level: for beginners. Basic skills of knitting are needed.
When finished, the cat is roughly 15 cm (5,9 inches) tall if you take the same yarn.

You need for work:

1) Yarn. The main color for the bunny was light brown. This is KAMTEX Okolitsa of a brown color and a
similar skein of a milk color for the tips of the legs and muzzle. The inner light part of the ears - Angora rabbit. The yarn is thin and it stretches well on the knitting needles. I recommend to use a thinner yarn for this detail. Scarf - Drops Sky. Here you can use any yarn.
You can choose any yarn on your discretion. You should be guided first by the thickness of a yarn, but not by the name of a yarn.

My main yarn had the thickness 250 m/100 g. The equivalent is 50g/125 m. Choose any yarn of a similar thickness.
Consider that if you take a thinner yarn, it is necessary to take the thinner knitting needles, not 2, but 1,5
mm.

2) Double pointed needles (DPN) 5 pcs. The size is 2 mm for the main knitting. (also I used the knitting
needles 1,5 mm to knit the ears. If you have the knitting needles of this size – use them, if no, you can
also use the knitting needles 2 mm, the ears will be a little bit bigger).

Also I used the circular needles 2 mm. It is convenient to knit the clothes with them, because it is convenient
to apply the knitting on a flexible line to the toy and look what you have.

3) Stuffing. Synthetic fluff or hollofayber.
4) White chenille wire for a frame of the legs. (if you have no wire, you can make the legs
without frame)
5) Eyes-beads or eyes with stalks 5-6 mm.
6) Transparent moment glue or a glue for a fabric
7) A device which help to insert a thread in a needle.
8) A sewing needle.
9) A piece of black thread.
10) The hook 1,5 mm to make easier the process of making the decreases.
11) Oil pastel for tinting of a toy.
12) A thin brush.
13) A piece of white thread to decorate the eyes.
14) Scissors.
15) A rough brush to comb the yarn. I use a brush for the animals with the metal teeth. It is sold
in any pet-shop.
16) Pins, 2 pcs.
