Depth of blade is about 1.25 inch wide. 416 layer Damascus steel - with Ladder pattern. Made from four steels - hardened to 58-59RC. (4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times. This is a tough as boots, shaving sharp, handmade skinning knife that will last for generations - made with care and love. It comes in a hand made, heavy duty, leather sheath - that hangs around your neck. Every one of our knives is a one of a kind - no two are the same. It takes a great edge.
