The stylish guard of the sword is made from a solid brass casting, as is the beautiful octagon pommel depicting the symbol of God: The Crusaders Cross! Rose wood has been used to make the handle, which has a brass spacer attached to it. There is a double ricasso line in the blade made of 440 stainless steel with a mirror polished finish. As far as display swords go, this one is definitely a medieval collector's dream come true.
