Raccoon Crochet Pattern

This toy raccoon works up strikingly, and the finished product makes an ideal gift for any child (or adult!).

The written crochet pattern (in US terms) calls for a 4.00 mm crochet hook, and four different yarns (DK): grey, black, white, and red (or any colour of your choice with which to make the scarf). One skein of black, white, and red yarn is sufficient. However, the pattern will use most of a 100 g skein of grey yarn.

Gauge is not important for this pattern; the approximate height of the finished product is 25 cm (sitting), or 35 cm (head to toe).

Additional materials required are:

- darning needle
- teddy filling
- two small black teddy bear eyes, approximately 8 mm in diameter
- one large wooden button, approximately 30 mm in diameter
- red thread (or colour to match scarf)
- sewing needle
