Pieces of leaves of various shapes and whole leaves with a small number of other parts of the plant (pieces of stems, flowers with pedicels and without them). The color of the leaves is green, grayish-green or silvery-white. The smell is fragrant. The taste is bitter-spicy, slightly astringent.

Infusion of sage leaves has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and astringent effects
Indications
Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis), pharynx and larynx (sore throat, pharyngitis).
Contraindications
Individual intolerance. With caution – pregnancy, lactation.
Method of administration and dosage
About 10 g (3 tablespoons) of raw materials are placed in enameled dishes, 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water .
Apply for rinsing 1/2 - 1 cup of infusion 3-5 times a day in a warm form.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
