Snufkin is one of my favorite characters. It's a symbol of liberty and travel. It's a lonesome wanderer and a loyal friend. 
It was so captivating  to read about the adventures of Moomins  when I was a kid long time ago. Tove Jansson managed to find the best way to resonate with kids' hearts by making their dreams so vivid and colorful. Those were exciting and breath-taking adventures which could make children curious and eager to discover the world. 
Now when I am a grown-up, I reread the Moomins  stories to my kids with great pleasure. I must admit that I share Snufkin's attitude to life in a way, especially its  ability to get inspiration from ordinary things and enjoy every moment of life as well as its loyalty to its friends.  
Snufkin's belongings are an old shabby hat, harmonica, a pipe and a patched bag. 
I carved Snufkin for the dreamers and wanderers like me. 
You can put Snufkin on the shelf or give it to a friend. 
It's made of oak, covered with oil and wax. 
The Snufkin in the photo has already found its home in Moscow region. It's posted here as a sample of my work. I can carve one for you.
