Annotation: The presented collection, which is a kind of an anthology of the Soviet chess etude, is intended to acquaint them with the achievements of Soviet etude composers. Soviet chess etude developed not only on the legacy of the founders of this art form - A.A. Troitsky, V.N. Platov and L.I. Kubbel, but over a long time and with the direct participation of these artists, now deservedly recognized as classics. The most prominent of them - A.A. Troitsky - was awarded the title of Honored Art Worker by the Soviet government, which made chess composition equal to other types of art. The work of the classics of chess etude is presented in the collection by their selected works, some of which are little known to the general reader.
