SEEMS TO WORK OK. NOT VERY MANY SILICONE(?) TIPS WITH THE HANDLE BUT THE TIPS CAN BE CLEANED AND RE-USED IF STERILIZED IN A COLD DISINFECTANT LIKE SOME REGULAR "HOUSEHOLD BLEACH" AND WATER (50:50 WOULD BE OK BUT THAT IS PRETTY STRONG) BE SURE TO RINSE THE BLEACH OFF VERY GOOD WITH MORE COLD WATER AND DRY THOROUGHLY B 4 REUSING. HOUSEHOLD BLEACH + A BIT OF WATER DOES KILL "ALL BACTERIA AND VIRUSES". LEAVE IN THIS DISINFECTANT AT LEAST 30-40 MINUTES. I/WE USED THIS IN DENTISTRY ( I AM A RETIRED REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST (40yrs FULL TIME!) - USA, NZ + AUSTRALIA) BEFORE THE NEWER COLD DISINFECTANTS CAME ABOUT. HANDLE THE BLEACH CAREFULLY - IT IS VERY CORROSIVE! WEAR CLEAR PLASTIC EYE PROTECTION WHEN HANDLING BLEACH! THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE CLEANING TIPS ( FOR ME) ARE A BIT LARGE AS I HAVE SMALL EAR CANALS AND THE ITEM CAME WITH NO SILICONE REFILL INFO AND "ONE SIZE FITS ALL" TIPS. PROBABLY...TOO LARGE 2 USE ON CHILDREN.

My ears slant down inward, so I collect ear wax regularly. Usually I need to go to the Dr. to get them cleaned out, as it eventually interferes with my hearing. I used an eyedropper and mineral oil to prepare, then after half day used the ear swab. I was amazed at how much wax I retrieved ❣

It’s very gentle on the ears due to the soft rubber tips. It’s very easy to use, I have had trouble with lots of wax in my ears for years and this is the best thing I have seen if it’s used with olive oil to soften the wax first, it’s brilliant. I would definitely recommend this product.
