About this item

Kyahan are very important part of japanese traveler's costume. Kyahan protects legs from grass, sand, cold weather, even insects and other annoying problems on the road. Traditional kyahan use two ties to be wrapped around the shin and ankle, also it's good base for foot armor - suneate. Kyahan are amazing addition to your image. It can be worn under kimono, over the hakama to fix them or even instead of pants at all.

The default material is cotton with a weight of 240g (8.5oz), you can choose some colors like blue, dark blue, red, white or unbleached.

Please note - we make every single pair in a custom way so we'll need some time (usually from a couple of days to week) to sew your personal gaiters.
