Officially recognized date of the founding of Gardner factory in Verbilki near Moscow is considered 1766, 

however, there are sources which confirm that the porcelain manufacture existed from the 1750s Mark Gardner 

served as a model for the majority of Russian porcelain manufacturers, 

he was a role model, and at the turn of the twentieth century has become a valuable jewel in the crown of the Partnership whiteware production, 

created by S. T. Kuznetsov. In 1891, the Gardner factory was sold to M. S. Kuznetsov. 

The plant's products in the past and in our times, has repeatedly noted the highest, including international awards. 

On a porcelain Gardner factory produced porcelain of high quality, not inferior to the best foreign samples. 

The range of Gardner porcelain was the dining room and tea utensils, decorative vases, toiletries (boxes, vials, boxes), statues. 

The plant was considered the best in Russia, its porcelain has always enjoyed constant demand. 

By the end of the 1880s - 1890s manufacture proved uncompetitive, and the plant was sold to the 

Partnership of M. S. Kuznetsov. Products of Gardner plant is so in demand and reputation in Russia and abroad, 

and that after purchasing the factory of M. S. Kuznetsov in 1891, the new owner retained the old stigma on all products.
