Overall composure, the sword is gorgeous. However, it is definitely meant to be looked at and not used. It’s not fragile, but I wouldn’t use it as a show prop. It’s not made to take a hit.
Overall, I love it though. It’s pretty, and light enough I was about to mount it on my wall with just a tack and some fishing line. Great for small collectors and interior decorating.
