My name is Kelvin Otieno from Nairobi Kenya I founded Ascend Fashion on the pillar of Sustainable Fashion model in the year 2020 after losing my job. As a self taught bag maker, the last 2 years have been a learning experience and at the same time perfecting the newly learnt skill. My craft involves collecting off-cut materials that include second hand denim, leather and ankara to design fashionable handbags. Currently Ascend Fashion is operating in Nairobi at my small home workshop using only one sewing machine. Am looking forward to improving the designs and scaling up production in the near future by employing young unemployed artisans. Your orders will be highly appreciated as I will be able to acquire a couple more professional machines. Our designs are a blend of African and contemporary styles that makes them very unique.
