When people ask me why I do needlework, I can't immediately answer this question. Maybe because my mom does needlework.. I remember how my mother collected pieces of fabrics that she had left after custom-made robes, and sewed dresses, costumes and toys for us. The things were very beautiful, they were so high-quality and individual, and it was impossible to guess that she had done it all herself. And how happy we were from every thing that Mom gave us. No one else had outfits like ours! At home there were always embroidered towels, napkins, and curtains hung on the windows, sewn again by her. So I've been doing something like this since I can remember.. I remember the first tears because of a piece of cloth that was supposed to be a napkin, but he didn't want to do it. I absolutely cannot imagine my life without needlework. And now, when I pick up plastic, silicone or a needle and thread, I distract myself from external problems and immerse myself in my little world.
