Chili Pepper knitting pattern, knitting pepper, brooch, pattern for beginners, clothing decor, valentine gift, craft DIY
Small size pepper - flat enough to be a spectacular bright brooch!
Materials and tools:
- Yarn and knitting needles.
To work, you need 2 colors of yarn of the same thickness - red and green. Try not to choose bright green shades. To make the plant look more interesting, and the brooch look more noble, the green color should be more calm. To get a more accurate shade, mix several different threads.
In my work, I use pure wool yarn ("Rasskazovsky angorka", about 300 m per 100 g) with the addition of a thinner cotton thread ("iris"). Small hairs can be trimmed. Try to combine close shades of the same color to make the pepper look more interesting.
For knitting, you will need two straight double-pointed knitting needles with a diameter of 2 mm (from a set of double-pointed needles). Match the needle diameter to the thickness of the yarn so that the knitting is tight enough, almost like stuffing. When choosing yarn, please note: acrylic is almost always more voluminous than wool, so the thickness of the acrylic thread in a skein of 300 m per 100 g will be noticeably larger!
When using these materials, the size of the finished work is about 9 cm.
- A needle for assembling and decorating, in the eye of which a knitting thread passes.
- Sew-on clasp for a brooch.
