About this item

These two written crochet patterns (in US terms) provide instructions to make a koala corner-to-corner baby blanket (approximately 116 cm x 92 cm), and a koala beanie in 'newborn’ size, 'baby' size, 'toddler' size, 'child' size, 'adult (S)' size, and adult (M/L)' size (please note: this is only a guide; individual head size may vary).

The items work up to make perfect gifts for any baby - boy or girl - and larger beanies can be made for other members of the family, too! The blanket is large enough to also be used as a toddler blanket, or even as a lap blanket for an adult.

The blanket pattern call for a 3.50 mm crochet hook, and DK yarn in seven colours: light blue, light green, dark green, grey, charcoal, dark blue, and white.

Amounts of yarn needed for the blanket are as follows:
- light blue: approximately 1.5 x 100 g skeins
- light green: approximately 1.5 x 100 g skeins
- dark green: approximately 1 x 100 g skein
- grey: approximately 3.5. x 100 g skeins
- charcoal: approximately 0.25 x 100 g skein
- dark blue: approximately 1 x 100 g skein
- white: approximately 1 x 100 g skein

A 4.00 mm crochet hook is used for the beanies, and each beanie uses less than 1 x 100 g skein of grey to make, with a little charcoal and white needed for the nose, eyes, and ears.

The only additional material required for the items is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
